It has been proven that kelp or what is in kelp can accelerate growth, increase fruiting and flowering, provide resistance to disease, insects and frost. There are a couple of things that are important in regards to the benefits of kelp and how they work. The first one is all of the trace elements and minerals which are aided by a carbohydrate mannitol that chelates or makes available certain minerals. One of the problems of modern farming is enabling the plant to take up all of the nutrients to complete a healthy life cycle. Chelates are very important in allowing plants to take up certain essential elements. Jiffy Preforma Plugs, also know as Jiffy Glue Plugs, are made from a fully bound, extremely uniform substrate, forming a structure with hundreds of micro air pockets evenly distributed throughout the plug. This stimulates superior fibrous root growth throughout the full depth and volume of the plug. The absence of a net around the plug allows the roots to develop optimally after potting on.
Cuttings grown in Preforma plugs produce notably cleaner callous than in other propagation substrates. The number of active root nodes formed at the callous is increased substantially, and stimulates fast multiple root development.
These “glue plugs” are manufactured and packed “wet” (they already contain moisture) and may have small colonies of mold inside of them, because they are a great substrate for flora to flourish in. In 99% of these cases, the fungi are saprophytic fungi and not harmful to plants (non-plant pathogenic). The two most well-known types are : Trichoderma and Peziza.
When the plugs are placed in a normal nursery environment and watered a few times, the natural balance will be “normalized” and the fungi will disappear.

The RAM Air-Pro II Fan Controller is an intelligent indoor climate controller designed to control two inline/exhaust fans thermostatically, monitoring and keeping the desired room temperature and air pressure.
NB !!: Fan switches must be on HIGH at all times when plugged in to this controller!
All you have to do is plug in your fans, set the required air temperature and fan speed/balance and the AIR-PRO will do the rest, maintaining a continuous room temperature in your room and giving you full control over negative pressure.
The RAM Air-Pro II features a remote thermostat sensor and temperature setting, as well as twin fan speed control.
This intelligent fan speed controller learns your optimum speed for the temperature/pressure that you desire. The unique software will automatically calculate the running speed for your fans and learn from this to modulate them (ramp down) to a single running speed that maintains the required temperature that you have set. A remote probe is fitted, accurate to within +/- 1 degree, that can be placed in the key temperature sensitive area.
The RAM Air-Pro II looks for a stable fan speed to maintain the desired temperature. This means that your fans will be running below the maximum operating speed. They will be operating at maximum efficiency in reference to power vs. performance, extending fan motor life, whilst only using the minimum electricity required.
