Essentials Digital Moisture Meter

The Essentials Digital Moisture Meter allows you to easily measure the level of moisture in drying herbs, indicating whether the dried product is ready for curing or storage. It is ideal for testing herbs that are drying, or plants such as tobacco or tea.

This moisture meter is easy to use and comes with a handy carry case, as well as a 9V “Block” battery.

  • Power on the unit and remove the protective probe pin cap – be careful when using the unit, as the probes are very sharp and cause injury to self, others, or pets.
  • Insert the pins into the substance that is being dried to see the moisture content – the pins should ideally be pushed 5mm into the tested substance.
  • The moisture reading will now be displayed on the screen – you can press the HOLD button to “freeze” the current reading, in case you need to write it down.
  • Turn unit off again after use and clean the pins carefully with a soft moist cloth if necessary. Remove the battery from the unit if it is not going be used for an extended period of time.
  • The meter has a reading range of between 5 and 40 % moisture content.

In potting soil & soilless mixes including Coco Coir:

  • To reset and refresh before changing nutrients (including before Ripen), and after nutrient burn or lock-out: Every fifteen days (or when needed after lock out etc.): fill a watering can with fresh pH adjusted water and add 1.5 to 3 ml / L of FlashClean. Drench until there is runoff from the bottom of the pot. Resume your regular fertilizer schedule with the next watering. Use the lower dosage for young or fragile plants, and the higher dosage for established plants.
  • As a final rinse / after Ripen: Use 3 ml / L of FlashClean instead of nutrients during the last two days before harvest to increase the sugars level in your crop instead of losing aroma and medicinal content with a long water flush.

NB: FlashClean can be used at any stage of growth or flowering but do not use FlashClean more than once every two weeks.

The CO2 controller has 2 operating modes: Plant mode OR human mode.

In plant mode, plug the 220V solenoid of a CO2 regulator into the controller’s power outlet – the controller will turn ON the CO2 regulator when the CO2 levels in your grow room drop below the set-point. The integrated day/night sensor will be active in this mode, ensuring that the controller will NOT emit CO2 during your plants’ “night time” – when your plants don’t make use of it. A 1-week CO2 data log allows you to spot trends over a week period, leading to greater insight and a higher amount of control over your grow.

In human mode, plug a 220V extraction fan into the controller’s power outlet – the controller will turn ON the fan when the CO2 levels in the area where the sensor is installed become higher than the set-point. The integrated day/night sensor will be inactive in this mode, ensuring that the controller will turn on the extraction fan whenever CO2 levels become too high in the area.

Watering your Garden HighPro Vertical Wall Propots can be made easier with automation: Button drippers that are connected to your current residential irrigation system can be installed to water each pot cavity. Choose a button dripped that will emit just the right amount of water for each pot during your regular watering schedule. Button drippers require a few Bars of water pressure to function correctly, so will not work with low pressure water pumps. If you are building an automated or semi-automated watering system for your vertical wall using a low pressure water pump, use arrow drippers instead.

Why a green work-light ?

Florigen is thought to be the flowering hormone responsible for triggering flowering production in plants.

For most photosensitive plants, florigen is only produced once the plant has experienced 12 hours of continuous darkness. In other words, it is the amount of darkness, not light, that triggers a plant’s flowering response.

Using a green light to work in your indoor garden during the plant’s “night time” has very little, if not no effect, on what the plants see to be total darkness, which means that Florigen production will not be hampered.

Usage tips:

  • Add 2/3rds of final amount of water first, then your additives. Then add the last 1/3rd of water to the sprayer. This is helpful when using foamy additives and will help prevent accidental clogging of the suction straw inside the sprayer when working with gunky additives
  • Always shake the sprayer well before first use and after idle intervals between spraying
  • Do not OVER pressurize
  • Always do a test spray first, in a safe area away from plants to dial in nozzle setting and to clear out the contents of the suction straw and nozzle hose.

5lt Pressure Sprayer Maintenance tips:

  • Most of the sprayer’s working parts rely on lubrication to function properly – these parts will be lubricated from the factory, but will dry out over time. Try to keep your sprayer as clean as possible during use and storage, to prevent dust, dirt and debris from entering the sprayer.
  • These parts (in the photos below) can be cleaned and serviced periodically (when performance starts to diminish) and re-greased with a food safe grease or even petroleum jelly.

SeaBrix is a balanced plant and soil food comprising a broad range of macro, micro and trace minerals, including natural plant stimulating hormones, enzymes and amino acids.

The formulation of kelp, fish hydrolysate, amino acids and triacontanol is blended to maximize plant health and plant growth.

Dosage: 5-10ml/1ℓ

Application instructions: Use 5ml/ℓ water as a foliar spray or 10ml/ℓ water as a soil drench. Use a 0,5% dilution when planting seeds and a 1% dilution for transplanting. Apply weekly as a full cover spray, ensuring thorough wetting of plant. Apply monthly soil drench around the plant roots. Shake well before use.

Compatibility: Biogrow Seabrix has been found to be compatible with most commonly used fertilizers. Physical compatibility should first be checked by using the current proportion of SeaBrix and other products in a small test jar. Growers should then test tank mix combinations for phytotoxicity on a sample of plants or crops prior to use. Do not apply in temperatures above 30ÂșC.

Precautions: Do not eat, drink or smoke while applying SeaBrix. Wash with soap and water after handling SeaBrix. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by disposal and do not re-use container. Destroy empty container and dispose of in a safe way.

Warnings: SeaBrix is harmful if swallowed and contact with eyes, skin and clothing should be avoided. SeaBrix should be kept out of reach of animals, children and uninformed persons. Store SeaBrix in its original container, in a cool, dry place, away from food and animal feed.

The new Method Seven Cultivator LED FX Classic is an engineering marvel, designed in conjunction with Carl Zeiss Laboratories, opthamologists, optical physicists, and even an electrical engineer. Experience comfort and safety while working under the brightest full-spectrum LED lights, and most ceramic metal halide lights.

Full spectrum LED technology emits powerful and subtle narrow band radiation, and potentially UVC. It might look like an average sunny day under full-spectrum LED lights, but these “engineered spectrums” require overkill protection.

The FX lens is remarkable in its ability to get high levels of beneficial light into your eyes comfortably and safely, allowing your eyes to work more naturally, and with less strain. The FX lens also blocks some near infrared, which aids in keeping your eyes cool and moist. In addition to protecting your eyes under the bright lights of your indoor grow, the FX lens is fantastic for wearing outdoors on a hot sunny day.

The Method Seven Cultivator LED FX Classic provides great value and exceptional light balancing for full spectrum lights. These polymer lenses offer 100% UV protection plus an infrared exterior lens coating.

The Cultivator frame is made with an impact resistant high level polycarbonate, for a flexible and lightweight fit. This half-jacket frame includes no-slip rubber nose pads that hold the frame comfortably for hours, even in hot conditions. Certified by independent labs to meet or exceed International ANSI MSZ87+S and Canadian CSA Z94.3 specifications. This includes high velocity impact resistance. It’s great for outdoor trail running and mountain biking too!

The tents collect and then reflect any light emitted outside of the canopy footprint and delivers it directly back to the plant. HID Grow lights such as Metal Halide (MH) and High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamps can also be used in this grow tent. Do not hang equipment on or from grow tent that is above the supported weight range.

Keep electrical wires safely away from equipment and areas in and or around the tent that may collect water.

Do not expose grow tent to direct sunlight, near an open flame, or a heat source.

Do not use your grow tent if any part of your tent material is cracked, ripped, or broken.

Do not permit children to play on, in, or around grow tent.

Provide proper air circulation in your grow tent to prevent air from going stale.
