The Submersible Water Heater can be fully immersed in the water. Because these heaters are completely submersible, they are generally more efficient. These heaters can be placed fairly low in the water. Â The submersible heater has an internal thermostat, it is usually more efficient if you position it horizontally in the tank, and fairly low in the water column. This will help the thermostat get an accurate reading on the tank temperature and correctly activate and deactivate the heater.
Submersible heaters are attached with suction cups.
Optimal water temperature is 18 to 20 Degrees Celsius.
KEY FEATURE:
Compact and reliable quality
High quality heating element
Fully submersible
For marine & fresh water aquariums
Hydroponics
Aquaponics
Easy to set and adjust temperature
Using the vacuum cups makes it easy to place the heater safe on the inner side of your nutrient tank.
Bionova PK 13-14: The original PK 13-14, Food grade minerals â Concentration 1:1500
NPK: 0-13-14
Thicker flowers
Bionova’s PK 13-14 is the perfect composition as a main flowering stimulator. Phosphor develops a healthy and extensive root system and an exuberant flowering. Potassium prompts the flowering potency in the plant. The combination of these two components in a food grade mineral form is the original Bionova’s superbloomer. Plants directly absorb all food grade minerals which gives you optimal control of your plants. Bionova is the inventor of the original composition: PK 13-14.
What is BioNova PK 13-14?
PK 13-14 is the perfect balanced combination of Phosphor and Potassium. Phosphor activates blooming inside any treated plant and Potassium prompts flowering and creates an exuberant flowering. It is sourced with food-grade minerals, which is one of the purest forms of minerals. Containing barely any ballast salts and heavy metals. This way the PK 13-14 is also directly absorbable by the root system, and no heavy metals will remain in the end product.
Tips from Bionova growers
â Use 1 to 2 ml PK 13-14 in 10 liters of water in the second week of the growing stage to promote a faster roots development.
â When deficiencies phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) occur, the plant. Mainly these conditions of immobilization and deprivation of elements for the cultivation are due to poor substrates and abnormal pH values of the nutrient solution. To cure deficient plants you can apply a solution of PK 13-14 with dilution rate of 2.5-5 ml in 10 liters of water by irrigation or foliar spray.
How to use ?
Should be applied from the first week of flowering until the final week of flowering.
Mixable with all Bionovafertilizers, stimulators, minerals, universals & substrates.
Can be used as irrigation and as foliar spray.
Application in irrigation:Â From start flowering until a week before harvest: 2-6ml per 10 liter of water.
Weight per brick is approx.: 5kg and yields 50 – 60 liters when expanded. Coir pH is between 5.4 and 6.8, and with an E.C < 0.3
These buffered bricks have no coco pith fines in them, they are mix of small-cut coco chunks and small coco fibers.
While seedlings and smaller plants prefer a finer coco coir, larger plants tend to do better in a chunkier, more airy coir. Ideal container size is 8 – 20 liters and frequent, small irrigation doses are recommended.
With Buffered Cocopeat like the Chunky Buffered Coco Peat Bricks, there is no need to buffer as it has already been done, but it still can be flushed/rinsed before using.
Cocopeat, pressed into Coco peat bricks, has a negatively charged complex, surrounded by a couple of positively charged ions: sodium and potassium. Because these elements stick to the complex, like iron to a magnet, there is no danger to the plant root initially. The problem starts when fertilizing with calcium. The calcium will push the potassium and sodium aside and take their position. Consequently, the calcium that is connected to the complex wonât be available to the plant, while sodium and potassium that are released into the water will be available.
To avoid this âtime bombâ problem, the Cocopeat needs to be  buffered. In buffered cocopeat the ion exchange, as we call the process where calcium pushes the other ions off the complex, has already taken place.
The EHG 1Lt Coco Nutrient Kit (Easy Hydro Grow) is a 3 part series (Grow, Coco Micro & Bloom) provides the perfect nutrient combination for every stage of your plants’ development by following the simple grow chart set out on the detailed instructions in the EHG nutrient guide.
Complete EHG Coco Nutrient Kit: Grow, Coco Micro & Bloom. Everything your plants will need to grow optimally.
Designed to work in Coco Peat. The Coco Micro has increased calcium and magnesium and lower potassium to compensate for the fact that coco is organic and not inert. Coco absorbs calcium and magnesium and releases potassium which can lead to problems. If using borehole water, one should stick to ordinary micro because borehole water is high in calcium and magnesium.

This tray has proved popular when used by private and commercial gardeners alike as a large irrigation table for keeping a multitude of potted plants watered.
The tray can be filled with grit or capillary matting if preferred. Its sheer size means that by simply filling the tray with a depth of water, a large number of plants can be watered in minimal time. The internal capacity is 28 Litres. A series of shallow horizontal ridges feature on the internal base of the tray which can aid drainage. The tray will fit perfectly on most greenhouse staging and also fits neatly on to commercial ‘Danish Trolley’ shelves.
Equally useful as a commercial drip / spillage tray for oils and chemical storage. There are many potential other applications such as a sand pit for kids, a plant irrigation display tray for garden centres and a mixing tray for cement to name but a few. Trays of this size and strength are very hard to find.
Garland trays are popular when used by private and commercial gardeners alike, as a large irrigation table for keeping a multitude of potted plants watered. Garland trays can be filled with growing medium or capillary matting if preferred. A series of shallow horizontal ridges feature on the internal base of the tray which can aid drainage.

Garden HighPro Tent Pole Connector Packs – these hard plastic tent pole connector sets are great for DIY enthusiasts. Construct your own customized grow area with ease, by using 16mm light steel tubes or even wooden dowels(wood is more suitable for smaller, light-duty spaces). Please note that the fit is slightly loose, as these connectors are normally held in place by a sturdy and well fitting tent-canvas that keeps them in place.
PLEASE NOTE: These connectors are made for use with Garden HighPro tent poles, with a 16mm diameter end to end.Â
Many types of grow tent poles reduce down to a 14mm diameter on their ends, and use a spring loaded pin to clip the pole into place when inserted into another pole, or into a connector. This variance in diameter could cause problems when using the HighPro connectors… loose-fitting connections may lead to a wobbly, leaning tent that may not handle the strain of suspended light fixtures and other equipment well.
Types of Garden HighPro Tent Pole Connector Packs available:
ProBox Tents with widths and depths of between 60 and 150 cm – these are all the smaller sizes of square grow tents.
240L Probox Tents – width and depth of 240 x 120 cm
240Â Probox Tents – Large square tents – width and depth of 240 x 240 cm
If planning a DIY growing space, make sure that you have your covering material of choice on hand before completing the tent frame completely – this way you would be better able to plan how you will be securing the coving material to your frame and not run into any unpleasant surprises, like forgetting to take overlap into account. ( If your chosen material is 1m wide, for example, your tent frame should ideally be a good bit smaller than 1m, to leave room for fastening and/or overlap )
Products like Black & White Panda Plastic Sheet, Sisalation or Diamond Mylar can can used as covering material, but these materials can be tricky to work with and secure, due to their flexible and relatively thin nature.

Woodee Pots are made of all natural wood fibres. The Pots are 100% organic and do not contain any additives or chemical product residues, unlike glued peat, straw, coco and cardboard pots. The Wood Fibres are obtained from thinning out sustainable managed forests.
They go beyond 100% biodegradability by improving soil fertility as they transform into humus, leaving a positive effect on soil life.
Woodee Pots have an unsurpassed high permeability to water, air and roots which results in an accelerated cultivation and excellent root system. Roots can quickly penetrate the walls of the pot, where they stop elongating when contacting air. Root buds are formed and secondary root systems start to develop throughout the pot. After transplanting or repotting, the dormant root buds are activated again, resulting in a strongly improved establishment speed.
Amateur gardeners and professional growers will be thrilled with the ease of use and high success rate of the Woodee Ÿ Pot. Roots penetrate rapidly through the walls of the pot and transplanting or re-potting is very easy.
Just place the pot with your seedlings directly into your soil when they are ready, there is no need to take them out the pots. The result is no transplant shock and is oh so kind to the environment.

The influence of plant nutrients on each other:Â
Some deficiencies â or excesses on occasion â are not caused by a shortage of the element in question but rather by a poor combination with other nutrients.
In 1953, D. Mulder published his âLes elements mineurs en culture fruitieÌreâ, the “Mulder chart” is one of the first studies of how different nutrients interact. The study included a graph, which is now commonly used. Over the years, other researchers have added other possible synergies and antagonisms. Clearly, studying the interactions between nutrients is essential for improving crop yield.
Looking at Mulder’s Chart, you can see 11 essential plant nutrients and micronutrients arranged around a circle. Solid and dotted lines connect the nutrients, with arrows heading one way or the other. Solid lines indicate an âantagonisticâ relationship, which means high levels of one nutrient leads to a problem absorbing the nutrient being pointed to, while dotted lines indicate a âsynergisticâ relationship.
