Autopot Replacement Flexipot 20lt

Autopot Replacement Flexipot 20lt

Autopot Replacement Flexipot 20lt fits an Autopot XL tray and allows you to combine power-free, water efficient, low maintenance, modular systems with high performance fabric pots. Flexipots stimulate plant growth by aerating, feeding and guiding the root structure rather than merely containing it.

The porous BPA-free, lead-free Flexipot material allows improved gas exchange in the substrate. Free to breathe, the root zone will see dramatically enhanced oxygen levels that supercharges growth.

When root tips reach the porous side of a Autopot Replacement Flexipot 20lt, they are ā€˜air-prunedā€™ (deterred from extending any further) by the air outside. Secondary roots then develop, creating a fibrous root structure with vastly improved moisture and nutrient uptake. Root circling is thus also eliminated, making it possible to produce bigger plants from smaller pots.

Extremely durable and reusable, the Flexipots are easily cleaned between uses if required. Once emptied, the Flexipots are best left to dry. After a few days any dust and small roots are easily brushed off. Whilst this level of cleaning is completely sufficient, the Flexipot may be machine or tub washed in a peroxide solution, in order to sterilize. Do not put Flexipots in a tumble dryer.

When growing in Autopot Watering Systems, it is essential that a Flexipot Potsock (Potsock not included with a replacement Flexipot) be fitted to the base of each Flexipot to provide root control.

Room humidity may be higher than using traditional plactic pots, when growing with multiple Flexipots indoors, due to the porous, airy material of the fabric pots.

Method Seven Cultivator HPS

Method Seven Cultivator HPS

The Method Seven Cultivator HPS is designed to provide the best optical quality possible for a synthetic lens, and to provide exceptional value to those working under HID lighting.

The Method Seven Cultivator HPS Ā provides great value and exceptional color balancing for HPS lighting with their proprietary lenses manufactured by Carl Zeiss Vision.

Designed for the intense yellow spectrum of High Pressure Sodium lights they use unique notch filtering technology to strip away the peaks of red & yellow in the 660nm range and balance the other wavelengths evenly. This provides an unmistakable experience of perfectly balanced color and comfort, with full UV protection under these incredibly yellow and hot lights.

Method 7 uses notch filtering to selectively and precisely block specific wavelengths of light energy to achieve a color balance for each specific type of grow light (HPS, LED). This provides perfect color, full protection, and comfort. They also use anti-reflective and hydrophobic coatings for the best clarity and durability.

Lenses are polycarbonate with 100% UV protection and Flash Silver exterior lens coating. Like other premium eyewear and unlike typical value eyewear, these lenses are decentered (asymmetrical) to eliminate distortion that would otherwise occur with a curved lens. The Cultivator frame features a rubber nose pad which holds the frames comfortably for hours, even in hot conditions. Microfiber pouch included for proper cleaning and storage.

The Cultivator is a workhorse ā€” designed to fit everyone with excellent base 8 coverage, providing optimal side protection. This frame meets/ exceeds ANSI Z87+s safety requirements; meaning you are safe against projectiles.
Its open bottom frame ensures plenty of air circulation to prevent fogging. With a safety rating, itā€™s perfect for commercial gardens. The Cultivator features the same high-quality Zeiss lenses found in their more expensive optics, but they’ve made the frame more affordable to deliver the best value for growers.

Dirty Hands Inc Orgasoilux Omega Mix

Dirty Hands Inc. Orgasoilux Omega Mix

Dirty Hands Inc Orgasoilux Omega Mix organic living earth soil blend has been in production since 2011, and has been laboratory tested locally and internationally*.

Available in 30lt Bags.

Using scientific data and analysis, Omega Mix has been balanced with various organic minerals and nutrients to ensure that the macro and micro nutrients and trace elements work synergistically with the soil’s microbiology and substrates.

Omega Mix has been designed for:

  • Growing boutique quality Cannabis, but also works well for any heavy feeding annuals, vegetables, fruits or flowers
  • Fast growth in indoor, greenhouse and outdoor environments
  • Maximum terpene and cannabinoid production in Cannabis
  • Heavy yields
  • Pest resistance
  • Microbial biodiversity
  • Continuous use

The compost, castings, raw nutrients and minerals mixed into the soil will provide enough food for the plant and soil microbes for 3 ā€“ 6 months, depending on the plant.

To enhance and unlock the full potential of Dirty Hands Inc Orgasoilux Omega Mix, it is recommended that a beneficial root fungi (mycorrhizal fungi) ) be used (e.g. Mycoroot) when transplanting or sowing into the soil.

After transplanting, or when sowed seedlings have grown to adequate size, add a layer of mulch, or cover crop seeds (or both!) to the top of the soil and water in.

Feeding:

The soil has been amended with many mineral and nutrients which will sustain the plant or plants’ nutritional requirements for some time. For those who want to use an organic liquid nutrient feeding program, you may begin after the second week of the vegetative growing stage, but may want to lighten the standard recommended dosages.

If you prefer not to use additional nutrient programs and grow with a “water only” method, use activated (aerated) compost teas and fermented liquid products. When using the “water only” method, it is important to use large volumes of soil. A rough guideline would be to use 30 – 60L of soil per plant when planning for a 3 month plant cycle (1 veg, 2 bloom, then harvest).

Contents:

Substrates:

Compost, Vermicompost, Coco peat, Sphagnum peat moss (sustainably harvested) and perlite.

Amendments:

Alfalfa meal, Aloe meal, Basalt Rock Dust, Bio-Char (preloaded with microbes), Canna-Kashi, Calcitic Lime, Copper Powder, Dolomite Lime, Guano (seabird), Gypsum, Humic Acid, Fulvic Acid, Frass, Kelp Meal, Malted Barley, Manganese Oxide, Montmorillonite Clay, Soft Rock Phosphate & Zeolite.

Eazy Block

Eazy Block

Eazy Block:Ā stronger and faster rooting than anything else on the market

The Eazy Block is the next evolution in organic growing media. Enhancing all of the superb characteristics of the Eazy Plug. From its predetermined and buffered pH and EC values, to its self regulating air-to-water ratio. It is extremely versatile and will perform in any application and in all availableĀ cultivating system. And the wonderful thing is, it is very easy to use.

Due toĀ air pruning the root structure will be very dense

Eazy BlockĀ is very wellĀ bonded, so it needs noĀ plastic wrapping. Without the plastic coveringĀ the roots stop growing when reaching the outside of the block.Ā At this pointĀ air pruningĀ takes place. This means that the primary roots stop growing beyond the Eazy Block because they get exposed to the relatively dry air and die-back. That will stimulate an abundant growth of secondary roots and root hair, that will spread throughout the entire Eazy Block. The effect will generateĀ a very well developed root system with a maximizedĀ absorption capability for the best possible intake of nutrients and fluids. There is no doubt that in this fully natural environment your plant will have theĀ strongest and healthiest start possible.

It has unlimited shelf live

The Eazy Block is supplied dried, soĀ it is very lightweight and clean. Accordingly there is no risk of molds and shelf live is unlimited.
TheĀ dry Eazy Block is designed to absorbĀ water very easily and it does itĀ astonishing quickly, whilst preservingĀ all of its originalĀ characteristics.

Ā
FAQs:Ā Ā
Q: How should I choose a carbon filter to match the fan that I shall use?Ā
A: When setting up your ventilation system, of course the first consideration is the diameter.Ā It is simpler to set up if ducting,Ā fanĀ and filter all have the same nominal diameter, although the diameter of fan and filter can vary.Ā If this is the case,Ā it isĀ recommendedĀ to use a filter of a slightly larger diameter than the fan, rather than the other way around. Bear in mind that adding ducting and a filter will increase theĀ operating pressure of the system, andĀ consequentlyĀ the actual flow rate of your fan will be reduced fromĀ itsĀ free flow rate. As a rule of thumb, choose a filter with a flow rate 20% larger than the fanā€™s free flow rate.Ā
Also, remember thatĀ allĀ filters work more effectively if the actual air flow is lower than the rated air flow. A filter with a higher rated air flow than the true air flow of the system will work more effectively, for longer.Ā

Make sure that the substrate is free of diseases, plagues or viruses in case of re-use.

Tips from Bionova growers:

āœ” Use to treat deficiencies: If the plants present deficiencies of nitrogen (N) calcium (Ca) magnesium (Mg) iron (Fe) or some other micro elements, component A can be applied to the cultivation, this can be applied by root irrigation or by foliar spray, to quickly recovering plants from the nutritional shortage.
āœ” On the other hand. if in the crops there are deficiencies of phosphorus (P). potassium (K) or Sulphur (S), we can apply component B also as foliar spray.

Buffered Coco Peat Bricks

Coco Peat Bricks

Buffered Coco Peat Bricks, approx.: 5kg : Coco peat bricks is a substitute for peat, because it is free of bacteria and most fungal spores, and is sustainably produced without the environmental damage caused by peat mining. It can be be mixed with sand, compost and fertilizer to make good quality potting soil.

Coco peat (coco coir) generally has an acidity in the range of pH – 5.5 to 6.5. It is a little on the acidic side for some plants, but many popular plants can tolerate this pH range.

Coco peat can be re-used up to three times with little loss of yield. Coco peat from diseased plants should not be re-used.

5Kg brick makes about 50 – 60L. Please note that 5kg weight is approximate (Between 4 and 5kg. The block weight should not have an effect on the volume yield).

For the Buffered Cocopeat there is no need to buffer as it has already been done, but it still needs to canĀ be flushed/rinsed before using.

Cocopeat, pressed into Coco peat bricks, has a negatively charged complex, surrounded by a couple of positively charged ions: sodium and potassium. Because these elements stick to the complex, like iron to a magnet, there is no danger to the plant root initially. The problem starts when fertilizing with calcium. The calcium will push the potassium and sodium aside and take their position. Consequently, the calcium that is connected to the complex wonā€™t be available to the plant, while sodium and potassium that are released into the water will be available.

To avoid this ā€˜time bombā€™ problem,Ā the Cocopeat needs to beĀ Ā buffered. In buffered cocopeat the ion exchange, as we call the process where calcium pushes the other ions off the complex, has already taken place.
