Powerplant

Powerplant 600W Metal Halide Lamp: Powerplant lamps are tailored to promote optimum development at each plant growth stage. The Powerplant Metal Halide lamp emits a balanced spectrum of light with enhanced blues, supporting healthy vegetative growth. Using this lamp, growers can expect their plants to grow densely, with large leaves and thick stems. These Metal Halide lamps are only for use with enclosed luminaries*** and must be connected to a suitable ballast.

Key Features:

Balanced light output across the whole spectrum, producing a light very close to natural light
Enhanced levels of blue light, accelerates vegetative growth
Science behind the product
A metal-halide lamp is an electrical lamp that produces light by an electric arc through a gaseous mixture of vaporized mercury and metal halides salts.

Metal halide lamps are designed to mimic the amount of blue light that plants would usually get from the spring and summer sun, and they can be used during the vegetative and the flowering stages of your plants’ life cycle.

Powerplant 600W Metal Halide Lamp specifications:

*** Metal Halide lamps can cause serious skin burns and eye inflammation from shortwave ultraviolet radiation if outer envelope of the lamp is broken or punctured. Do not use where people will remain more than a few minutes unless adequate shielding or other safety precautions are used. There are lamps that will automatically extinguish when the outer envelope is broken but these lamps do not self-extinguish. This is why they are only to be used with enclosed luminaries.

Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller

Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller

The Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller (PPM-B1) is a digital CO2 controller that provides simple and precise control of a 220/240-volt CO2-generating device, such as CO2 Canisters with CO2 Regulators or Burners that use LP gas to generate CO2.

There is great benefit to supplementing with CO2 when growing – as plants use the carbon gleaned from CO2 in the air to literally build themselves! ( Read more HERE ) Using the Pro-leaf CO2 Controller to utilize the most out of your supplemented CO2.

This controller has adjustable set points ranging from 400-2000 parts per million with an accuracy of +/-100 PPM and an adjustable deadband. A deadband can be compared to a sensitivity setting, where the device will stay OFF until the variance between the desired CO2 level and the actual CO2 level exceeds the deadband value.

A remote sensor, with 4.5m cable, accurately monitors you grow space’s PPM levels and relays this information to the controller for display in real-time. An integrated photocell automatically disables the unit during the plants’ night cycle, when the grow-lights are off, as plants do not take up CO2 during their night cycle.

  • A plug-and-play solution that monitors CO2 concentrations in your grow room.
  • Automatically releases CO2 when needed in order to achieve optimal levels.
  • Helps to maximize photosynthesis rates, for faster growth and bigger yields.
  • Allows you to choose settings between 400ppm and 2000ppm.
  • Very easy to program, with a clear display.
  • Comes with a built-in photocell to check for dark periods.
  • Doesn’t waste CO2 – only doses when necessary.
  • Supplied with parts needed to mount the controller to a wall and also to hang the sensor.
  • Teams up nicely with Autopilot CO2 Generators or the Dimlux CO2 Regulator.
  • Also features a CO2 DOWN mode, if used to expel excess CO2 buildup.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This unit comes with male and female earthed 2-pin plugs, so plug adaptors will be required for operation. ( Not included )
  • Max Current: 10 amps.
  • Sensor Cord Length: 4.5m
  • Control Range: 400ppm to 2000ppm.
  • CO2 Accuracy: 100ppm.
  • Weight: 1kg

How to Use the Pro-Leaf CO2 Controller PPM-B1

  • Press the PPM knob (on the left) and select your PPM setpoint.
  • Press the ‘Deadband’ knob (on the right) and select your deadband level. This set by how much the PPM will deviate from the setpoint before the unit turns back on. The smaller the deadband, the quicker the unit will respond.
  • Choose a ‘control mode’ setting using the switch on the bottom right-hand side. ‘PPM Up’ is used when you are increasing CO2 levels with a gas powered generator. ‘Fuzzy Logic’ should be selected if you want to use a CO2 bottle and regulator. ‘PPM Down’ is used when regulating fans, so that they kick in when CO2 levels get too high. This option will rarely be used in most grow rooms, because the priority will be increasing CO2 levels.
  • There’s a ‘Max / Min’ feature that will tell you what the maximum and minimum PPM levels while you were away. All you need to do is click both buttons simultaneously.
  • Always keep the controller at least 2.5 meters away from any digital ballasts.
  • The Pro-Leaf cannot be used alongside a sulfur vaporizer. If you do wish to use a sulfur vaporizer, ensure that you remove the sensor from the affected area first.
  • The unit also has a calibration mode to calibrate against fresh outside air if needed.

T8 LED Tubes and Fittings

T8 LED Tubes and Fittings

T8 LED Tubes and Fittings:

REMEMBER TO BUY 2 LED TUBES FOR EACH FITTING : )

T8 Fixture Connector Advice

Low cost, slim-line and ultra light, these can easily be installed over propagators or inside a propagation tent. They can also be hung vertically to be used as supplemental lighting for dark tent corners and in between plantings.

Each Double T8 LED Fitting is 615mm long and fits 2 x T8 LED tubes. PLEASE NOTE: These fittings are not the same as older fluorescent fittings (which have ballasts and starters) and should not be used for fluorescent tubes!

Each Clear T8 LED Tube is 600mm long, has a 9 Watt power draw, 6500K colour temperature, and Lumen output of 810 Lumens. PLEASE NOTE: These tubes are not the same as older fluorescent tubes and should not be used in fluorescent fittings!

For best results 4 to 6 T8 tubes are recommended above a single large sized propagator, like the Garland XL High Dome Propagator.

The LED tubes produce hardly any heat and can be hung as close to the cuttings or seedlings as possible to maximize the light intensity.

T8 LED Tubes and Fittings Assembly:

  • Always wire up and use correctly.
  • Never put strain on the connected electrical wire. Do not hang from electrical wire.
  • PLEASE NOTE: The holes of the hanging eyelets ( that are folded up, out of the casing, if needed, one on each side ) are too small to clip into standard rope ratchet clips. Use something like a round key-holder ring to go into the hanging eyelets and then clip the key ring into the rope ratchet clips if needed.
  • Take care when handling these units as they are light-duty items and can easily damage if dropped by accident.
  • For indoor use only

Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient

Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient

Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient:

Bloombastic is a high-quality cocktail made of mineral and organic additives with a vegetable origin that is suitable for the last flowering and ripening phase (4-6 weeks) of the plant. Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient increases the sugar content of your crop and therefore the weight and the smell. By means of an explosion of sugar and flower production Bloombastic provides thick, dense, sweet-smelling flowers.

Compared with other liquid flowering products, Bloombastic contains over 50% more bio-minerals (phosphorus and potassium) for which absolutely no ballast substances have been used (sodium and chlorine). Bloombastic also has an enzymatic influence in several areas, and therefore has a stress-preventing and recovering influence on the plant.

The combination of these features allows Bloombastic to replace various other products. Combining Bloombastic with (another) PK nutrient is not only unnecessary, but potentially risky, due to the risk of over fertilizing. Using Bloombastic together with e.g. B’cuzz Bloom Stimulator is a great way for growers further to exaggerate the flowering-phase stimulating effect. You can perfectly combine it with basic nutrients as well. It’s important to pay attention to the EC value of your nutrient solution.

This universal nutrient is suitable for many crops like different kinds of vegetables and fruits like chili peppers, strawberries, blueberries. It can also be used for flowering ornamental plants (e.g. Orchids, Violets). Experienced growers can measure the required dosage per plant, based on the NPK-values.

Application:

Apply in the last 4 to 6 weeks of flowering and ripening in combination with the basic nutrition. ATA Bloombastic can be used on any substrate (Soil, Hydro and Coco) and is suitable for all irrigation systems.

Dosage:

0.5 – 1.0ml per 1 liter of nutrient solution. Increases the E.C. value in your basic nutrient solution.

Composition:

P: 59 g/kg

K: 121g/kg

Fe: 990mg/kg

Low Chlorine

LumaxPro 250W Spectrum

Proper lighting is a key ingredient in promoting robust, healthy growth as well as meeting the needs of various plant growth phases through optimized spectral outputs. Specifically tailored for the hydroponic and horticultural industries.

HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM – (HPS)

HPS bulbs are the most efficient bulbs that are commonly used by the hobby gardener. They are high in the red and yellow parts of the spectrum and low in the blue, this imitates the fall sun. Because of this spectrum some plants that are grown with HPS lights only can grow elongated and rather leggy, while many other plants are not effected by the light spectrum. For plants that normally bud and flower in the fall this is usually the light of choice because the light spectrum promotes flower production.

HPS bulbs are made out of a translucent ceramic arc tube containing a mixture of sodium, mercury and xenon gas. This arc tube is suspended in a outer glass shield (bulb). HPS bulbs range in power from 35w to 1000w, with the 250w, 400w, 600w and 1000w being the most popular for indoor horticulture.

HPS bulbs should be changed out after about 24 months. The bulbs slowly lose their brightness over time and to maintain good light quality the bulbs must be changed before the end of their rated life.

Garden HighPro LumaxPro HPS Lamps offer a great light spectrum at an affordable price!

Bionova PK 13-14

Bionova PK 13-14

Bionova PK 13-14: The original PK 13-14, Food grade minerals – Concentration 1:1500

NPK: 0-13-14

Thicker flowers

Bionova’s PK 13-14 is the perfect composition as a main flowering stimulator. Phosphor develops a healthy and extensive root system and an exuberant flowering. Potassium prompts the flowering potency in the plant. The combination of these two components in a food grade mineral form is the original Bionova’s superbloomer. Plants directly absorb all food grade minerals which gives you optimal control of your plants. Bionova is the inventor of the original composition: PK 13-14.

What is BioNova PK 13-14?

PK 13-14 is the perfect balanced combination of Phosphor and Potassium. Phosphor activates blooming inside any treated plant and Potassium prompts flowering and creates an exuberant flowering. It is sourced with food-grade minerals, which is one of the purest forms of minerals. Containing barely any ballast salts and heavy metals. This way the PK 13-14 is also directly absorbable by the root system, and no heavy metals will remain in the end product.

Tips from Bionova growers

✔ Use 1 to 2 ml PK 13-14 in 10 liters of water in the second week of the growing stage to promote a faster roots development.
✔ When deficiencies phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) occur, the plant. Mainly these conditions of immobilization and deprivation of elements for the cultivation are due to poor substrates and abnormal pH values of the nutrient solution. To cure deficient plants you can apply a solution of PK 13-14 with dilution rate of 2.5-5 ml in 10 liters of water by irrigation or foliar spray.

How to use ?

Should be applied from the first week of flowering until the final week of flowering.
Mixable with all Bionova fertilizers, stimulators, minerals, universals & substrates.
Can be used as irrigation and as foliar spray.

Application in irrigation: From start flowering until a week before harvest: 2-6ml per 10 liter of water.

Application as foliar: 2,5-5 ml per liter.
