Biobizz World Wide Organics is dedicated to the production and export of organic fertilizers ensuring the highest quality of each of the products we create, as well as the result that the grower gets when they use them.

Biobizz was born in 1992 in Groningen, the Netherlands. At that time, it was a small family business, with a smaller product line, but the DNA of the product was already very present.

Since then Biobizz has not stopped growing. Today they are present in 70 different countries, but the feeling is still that of belonging to a family, because all team members know each other and work together to ensure that Biobizz continues to be a leading company in the sector.

Feeding Schedules:

You don’t need to use ALL of the products on the feeding schedules to get great results, especially if you are just “trying” BioBizz out.

The key thing to remember is that BioBizz is an organic nutrient, which means that beneficial microbes need to break the nutrients down to make them plant-available. “Clean” coco coir based substrates will not have these microbes present in them and they would need to be added in order to get colonies established in the substrate to break these nutrients down. Enriched/amended substrates will often have beneficial microbes added in, either directly, or by the addition of bacteria-carrying amendments like worm castings or compost, so there is less need to worry about them being present.

Additionally, as can be seen below, enriched substrates (“hot soils”), require less supplemental feeding, because they are already packed with nutrient-rich amendments. Some enriched substrates will favor the plants’ vegetative phase and some are more geared towards providing nutrition during the blooming/fruiting phases – the composition of your chosen substrate will have an impact on your feeding requirements.

Luckily, organic nutrients tent to be more forgiving when it comes to dosing than mineral nutrients – no need to stress too much, just follow the recommended schedule!

Cocogreen 10L Coir Pop Up

Cocogreen 10L Coir Pop Up Main

Cocogreen 10L Coir Pop Up – just add water. Coarser coco coir towards the bottom of the brick removes the need to add perlite. (Ideally, drop the dry pop up into a shallow tray filled with water / nutrient solution to soak and decompress)

Dimensions: Approx. 22 x 22 x 14cm(H) after soaking.

Moisture Control Technology (MCT) has redefined the substrate industry. MCT® provides a homogeneous moisture content from the top to the bottom of the substrate, enabling establishment of more fine roots, less run-off and higher yield and crop quality across large areas. Growers often comment on the visual uniformity and health of crops grown in Cocogreen MCT; allowing them more time and money to focus on other areas of their farm management.

With MCT, for every liter of substrate you use to grow your crop, the output is significantly improved versus any other type of substrate. This means that you can use less substrate per kg of produce. Typically, 20% less than a competitor product, with more reliable results. Try your Cocogreen 10L Coir Pop Up today!

Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient

Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient

Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient:

Bloombastic is a high-quality cocktail made of mineral and organic additives with a vegetable origin that is suitable for the last flowering and ripening phase (4-6 weeks) of the plant. Atami Bloombastic Flowering Nutrient increases the sugar content of your crop and therefore the weight and the smell. By means of an explosion of sugar and flower production Bloombastic provides thick, dense, sweet-smelling flowers.

Compared with other liquid flowering products, Bloombastic contains over 50% more bio-minerals (phosphorus and potassium) for which absolutely no ballast substances have been used (sodium and chlorine). Bloombastic also has an enzymatic influence in several areas, and therefore has a stress-preventing and recovering influence on the plant.

The combination of these features allows Bloombastic to replace various other products. Combining Bloombastic with (another) PK nutrient is not only unnecessary, but potentially risky, due to the risk of over fertilizing. Using Bloombastic together with e.g. B’cuzz Bloom Stimulator is a great way for growers further to exaggerate the flowering-phase stimulating effect. You can perfectly combine it with basic nutrients as well. It’s important to pay attention to the EC value of your nutrient solution.

This universal nutrient is suitable for many crops like different kinds of vegetables and fruits like chili peppers, strawberries, blueberries. It can also be used for flowering ornamental plants (e.g. Orchids, Violets). Experienced growers can measure the required dosage per plant, based on the NPK-values.

Application:

Apply in the last 4 to 6 weeks of flowering and ripening in combination with the basic nutrition. ATA Bloombastic can be used on any substrate (Soil, Hydro and Coco) and is suitable for all irrigation systems.

Dosage:

0.5 – 1.0ml per 1 liter of nutrient solution. Increases the E.C. value in your basic nutrient solution.

Composition:

P: 59 g/kg

K: 121g/kg

Fe: 990mg/kg

Low Chlorine

Epsom Salts

Magnesium Sulphate

Epsom Salts is a magnesium deficiency corrector for foliar or root application.

Magnesium sulfate and sulfur are absorbed through leaves and roots to help them produce chlorophyll. Epsom Salts are recommended to promote excellent blooms .

Magnesium and sulfur are the two major components of Epsom Salt. Crop researchers have determined that magnesium is:

A critical mineral for seed germination.
Vital to the production of chlorophyll, which plants use to transform sunlight into food.
An aid in the absorption of phosphorus and nitrogen, two of the most important fertilizer components.

Sulfur, the other major component of Epsom Salt, is also an important plant nutrient. Sulfer may:

Contribute to chlorophyll production.
Make the primary nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) found in most fertilizers more effective.
Although magnesium and sulfur occur naturally in soil, they can be depleted by various conditions, including heavy agricultural use over time. But unlike most commercial fertilizers, which build up in the soil over time, Epsom Salt is not persistent so you can’t overuse it. Tests by the National Gardening Association confirm – roses fertilized with Epsom Salt grow bushier and produce more flowers, while the compound makes pepper plants grow larger than those treated with commercial fertilizer alone.

To relieve Magnesium deficiency

Application for misting or foliar spraying:

Mix 1 tsp in 2L water. Spray at lights out or evening.

Repeat every 3 days until one sees an improvement.

Application for soil watering:

Mix 1 Tbs in 5L of water. Feed once during growing phase and twice when flowering.

Liquid pH Up

Generic Bottle

Liquid pH Up consists of Potassium Hydroxide and is used to increase pH. Adjust the pH levels to improve the growing conditions for your plants. Hydroponic plants thrive best in solution with pH range from 5.5 to 6.5.

Instructions: should be added in small amounts to water until the pH is increased to the required level.

Use in conjunction with a pH meter or good quality pH test kit.

Potassium hydroxide is a strong alkali, or base, and many of its uses are a result of this property. As a base, potassium hydroxide acts as a pH regulator in industrial manufacturing and processing. In the agricultural industry, potassium hydroxide is used to regulate the pH of acidic soils.

Liquid pH Up has an extremely low level of phytotoxicity and does not contain salts or chlorides.

With plants, nutrient availability can be affected by soil or solution pH. pH levels outside recommended ranges can lead to nutrient lockout and nutrient deficiencies resulting in stunted growth and poor appearance. Control pH levels, minimize problems and maximize your plants’ full potential with  pH Up and pH Down solutions.

Tips

  • Be consistent in making sure pH stays in the range

  • You don’t need to be exact, just keep an eye on things and react if you notice the pH is getting too high or too low

  • Add all of your nutrients to your water first before checking and adjusting the pH. Your nutrients will affect the pH of your water so it’s important they get added before making any adjustments.

Jiffy 7 Pellets 41mm

Jiffy 7 Pellets 41mm

Jiffy 7 Pellets 41mm are made from Sphagnum peat from specially selected peat bogs. Lime and a special fertilizer with a low ammonium content are added to the peat in order to stimulate growth. The pellets have a pH of approximately 5.3 and are wrapped in a thin, biodegradable net.

Jiffys are a popular ready to use media and are perfect for seed germination and also for rooting plant cuttings or clones.

The compressed pallets are approx. 41mm W x 42mm H when fully expanded. When exposed to water the Jiffy expands and the hydrated media is held within a degradable net. A small indent is provided on top of the disc to place the seed into once the disc has expanded.

Because the Jiffys have an outer netting to hold the media inside, they can be self-standing or growers can place them inside seedling trays for additional support. ( Handy when rooting cuttings )

Once a good root system has developed throughout the media, they can be directly planted into an NFT system or a larger plastic or fabric pot or even a rockwool slab.

Jiffy 7 Pellets 41mm are also very popular for soil growers and can be directly planted into the soil when the seedling is established.

Jiffy 7s are manufactured from sphagnum peat (and Coir fibers) harvested from carefully selected bogs which are subject to stringent internal and governmental controls to ensure minimal environmental impact. Peat is only taken from sources where the re-generation rate is greater than the harvest rate and the local ecology will not be adversely affected.

Leca

Leca

LECA (Light Expanded Clay Aggregate).

This free-draining medium is manufactured by mixing sodium with clay and firing in a rotary kiln to burn off the sodium, forming round pellets of various sizes, each pellet having ‘honeycomb’ spaces inside. These spaces allow nutrients to be taken up by the pellet and released to the plant gradually. They also allow oxygen to reach the roots of the plants. This is of paramount importance in hydroponics.

We stock various different sizes of Leca. 8 – 16 mm expanded clay balls work well for larger net pots and Dutch buckets, while the smaller 2 – 10 mm expanded clay balls work best for smaller sized net pots, eg. 50 mm, 75 mm and even 200 ml net pots. 8 -10 mm Leca is also available and can be used as desired, most probably for medium to larger sized net pots and also for grow beds, Dutch buckets, etc.

The lightweight roundish clay balls of various sizes make for a great hydroponic growing substrate. It’s the perfect media choice for ebb and flow and drain to waste. Water flows between the pebbles quickly, supplying the roots with nutrients, yet allowing the roots to stay oxygenated. Roots and plants develop healthy and vibrant.

With the advantage of light weight, high permeability, high durability and excellent sound and thermal insulating properties, LECA is a good ‘all round’ aggregate for use in an a variety of applications.

NB: Product needs to be flushed/rinsed before use. Shape and colour may vary according to availability.

Leca

Leca is a Lightweight Expanded Clay, formed by the heating and firing of clay in a rotary kiln, at temperatures of up to 1150°C. The process transforms the clay into various lightweight ceramic granules, which have a hard ceramic shell and a porous core.

Intact Granules

  • Higher insulation (more closed pores)
  • Better drainage (bigger gaps between granules)

Fragmented Granules

  • Better moisture retention (more open pores)
  • Better soil aeration (promotes healthy bacteria)
  • Increases root biomass (sharp edges split and induce exponential root development)

Benefits of Leca

Manufactured to relevant ISO standards, Leca is consistent in nature:

  • pH neutral
  • stable & durable
  • anti-fungal
  • resistant to insects

Atami BCuzz Coco A and B

Atami BCuzz Coco A and B

Atami BCuzz Coco A and B – the base for fine growing results on hydroponic systems!

BCuzz Coco A and B are universal basic nutrients that provide young plants with the concentrated and specific mineral nutrition they require to develop into strong and healthy plants. This mineral nutrient range can be applied during the entire growth cycle.

Coco substrates are naturally rich in potassium, which is slowly released from the coco peat over time. However, coco peat is naturally very poor in calcium. Therefore, it is important that the nutrient range contains enough calcium. Coco A has a Calcium content of 25 g/kg, enough Calcium for coco based substrates.

Coco B mainly contains the phosphorous and the necessary micro-nutrients.

ESPECIALLY SUITABLE FOR: Different kinds of vegetables, fruits and herbs like tomatoes, sage, and basil.
It can also be used for indoor and potted plants (e.g. Alocasia, Lavender). The required dosage can be adjusted to meet the needs of any individual plant or crop.

APPLICATION: Because certain nutrients in the solution chemically react with each other in high concentrations, the nutrition comes in two separate bottles, A and B. The A and B concentrates may only be mixed with each other in combination with water. ( E.g: First add the Coco A into your water, stir and wait a minute or two, then add the Coco B to your water )

DOSAGE: 1 – 3 ml A and 1 – 3 ml B per liter of water.
