AutoPot PlantSkirt is a light-tight, heat-reflective shield that protects nutrient solution and substrate when growing in large open trays. Paired with an easy2GO Kit, it provides a solution for growing even the largest of plants with AutoPot Watering Systems.
Large, open garden trays lack the protection to substrate and nutrient solution which is normally afforded by the snug-fitting pots, trays and lids found on our modules. This problem is resolved by the AutoPot PlantSkirt.
Secured around the middle of the pot and around the outer rim of the tray, this innovative skirt helps maintain stable temperatures in your substrate and nutrient solution. The heat and light that would otherwise cause nutrient solution to evaporate is instead reflected back onto the plant to its greater benefit and invasion by algae or debris is averted.
The AutoPot PlantSkirt should be used in conjunction with 80cm-100cm sq trays.

The Black Autopot Inline Water Filter 12mm will filter out small bits of debris that are present in a water tank or nutrient reservoir. This will help prevent piping and Aquavalveblockages from happening. This is very handy when using water sources that may contain particulates, for example rainwater. in your feeding or watering systems. Rainwater harvested from rooftops often has grit, leaves, twigs and other bio-matter in it and these will eventually get stuck inside small diameter piping or Aquavalves, leading to improper functioning of the system.
Contrary to clear plastic inline water filters this black plastic filter will block out all sunlight from penetrating into the water / nutrient solution. Any clear piping or fitting used in the supply lines of water and especially nutrient solutions will cause algae growth to form inside these clear areas, which may spread to other parts of the system.
The filter has barbed connections on each side, with the shaft outer diameter being about 12.5cm. TIP: If you are connecting piping to the filter, stick the end of the piping into a bit of boiled water to soften up the pipe. This will allow for much easier fitment.
The Autopot inline filter has mesh size small enough to catch particles that may cause problems in an Autopot system, but will still let through very small particles, bordering on silt/ sludge. We advise consulting an irrigation supply store with regards to getting rid of extremely small or fine types of particulates.

Autopot Replacement Flexipot 20lt fits an Autopot XL tray and allows you to combine power-free, water efficient, low maintenance, modular systems with high performance fabric pots. Flexipots stimulate plant growth by aerating, feeding and guiding the root structure rather than merely containing it.
The porous BPA-free, lead-free Flexipot material allows improved gas exchange in the substrate. Free to breathe, the root zone will see dramatically enhanced oxygen levels that supercharges growth.
When root tips reach the porous side of a Autopot Replacement Flexipot 20lt, they are ‘air-pruned’ (deterred from extending any further) by the air outside. Secondary roots then develop, creating a fibrous root structure with vastly improved moisture and nutrient uptake. Root circling is thus also eliminated, making it possible to produce bigger plants from smaller pots.
Extremely durable and reusable, the Flexipots are easily cleaned between uses if required. Once emptied, the Flexipots are best left to dry. After a few days any dust and small roots are easily brushed off. Whilst this level of cleaning is completely sufficient, the Flexipot may be machine or tub washed in a peroxide solution, in order to sterilize. Do not put Flexipots in a tumble dryer.
When growing in Autopot Watering Systems, it is essential that a Flexipot Potsock (Potsock not included with a replacement Flexipot) be fitted to the base of each Flexipot to provide root control.
Room humidity may be higher than using traditional plactic pots, when growing with multiple Flexipots indoors, due to the porous, airy material of the fabric pots.
