Filter 9mm

Autopot 9mm Filter

Filter 9mm to be fitted to outlet pipe from reservoir to filter water. Will fit 9mm (O.D.) pipe. For use with Autopot pot sets and system that use the new Aquavalve 5 has a 5mm (I.D.) inlet and uses 9mm (O.D) Autopot piping. For Autopot systems that use the original Aquavalve with its 3mm (I.D.) inlet, use the 5mm (O.D.) Filter and 5mm piping.

AQUAValve5 for systems using 9mm and 12-9mm fittings.

The Filter 9mm should be used with the 30 ltr & 47 ltr tanks. It is simply inserted inside the tank once the 9mm pipe is pushed through the 9mm Top Hat Grommet at the bottom of the tank. It can be easily serviced and will float to the top if it comes detached from the tube, this will not happen if you make sure you have pushed the filter firmly into the tube.

The sponge in side  filter is designed to trap any particles that would clog up your system. Simply clean out sponge every 4 weeks.

The Click Fit Tank Adapter and Filter 6mm can be used for smaller Autopot FlexiTanks or tanks with suitable click fittings, where there are only a few Autopot sets feeding from the tank and all the piping is able to be of a 6mm size.

Please note that this filter is for use with the regular Autopot Aquavalve, which uses 6mm piping and is NOT compatible with the NEW Aquavalve 5‘s 9mm piping.

The plastic mesh filter will catch solid particles and debris large enough to block the feeding lines.

When root tips reach the porous side of a Flexipot they are ‘air-pruned’ – deterred from extending any further by the air outside. Secondary roots then develop, creating a fibrous root structure with vastly improved moisture and nutrient uptake. Root circling is also thus eliminated making it possible to produce bigger plants from smaller pots.

Extremely durable and reusable the Flexipots are easily cleaned between uses if desired. Once emptied the Flexipots are best left to dry. After a few days any dust and small roots are easily brushed off. Whilst this level of cleaning is completely sufficient the Flexipot may be machine or tub washed in peroxide in order to sterilize. Do not put Flexipots in a tumble dryer.
