Simply add the non return check valve into the air tubing supply line shortly after the air pump, to prevent water from flowing into the air pump during power outages, system maintenance, etc.

The check valve fits into regular 5 mm air tubing.

The check valves are ideal to use in spaces where the placement of your air pumps are limited and they also add another level of safety to your project, eliminating potential short circuits or electricity being cut off at the distribution board due to water back-flow getting into an air pump.
