These powders make 3 separate liquid concentrates (usually 5L each), which are then diluted into your final nutrient solution. Remember to add 3× empty 5lt containers to your order if you don’t have any.

Hortimix MAXI Nutrient Kit contains:

1Kg Hortimix Nutrient A
1Kg Hortimix Nutrient B
1Kg Monopotassium phosphate, MKP, KH₂PO₄

These powders are used to make 3 separate liquid nutrient concentrates, usually 5lt each. These are then diluted further into your final nutrient solution. ( Don’t forget to add 3 x empty 5lt containers to your cart if you don’t have any already )

Hortimix Nutrient A is a water soluble combination of plant nutrients suitable for use in hydroponic (soil-less) crop production systems, and when used together with potassium sulphate and/or calcium nitrate it is a balanced source of macro- and micro-nutrients.

When Hortimix Nutrient A is applied to the irrigation water as directed, the nutrients are readily available and provide for optimum plant growth and high yields of good quality.

Hortimix Nutrient B (Calcium Nitrate) is a source of nitrogen for plant nutrition, and of calcium for the correction of bitter pit in apples, corky spot in pears and other calcium deficiency disorders in crops.

Monopotassium phosphate, MKP, KH₂PO₄ Monopotassium phosphate (also potassium dihydrogen phosphate, KDP, or monobasic potassium phosphate, MKP) — KH2PO4 — is a soluble salt which is used as a fertilizer, a food additive and a fungicide. It is a source of phosphorus and potassium.

Always use and store chemicals safely, refer to the Potassium phosphate monobasic MSDS sheets, that are available online.
