The Lumii Green LED Work-light boasts a 10w ultra bright high-intensity green LED light allowing you to work inside your grow space without disturbing the photoperiod. It is supplied with a heavy duty mounting clip for ease of use.
Using green light within a grow area is a strategic and effective approach to minimize disturbances to plant cycles, particularly during periods of darkness. Why a green work-light ?
Florigen is thought to be the flowering hormone responsible for triggering flowering production in plants.
For most photosensitive plants, florigen is only produced once the plant has experienced 12 hours of continuous darkness. In other words, it is the amount of darkness, not light, that triggers a plant’s flowering response.
Using a green light to work in your indoor garden during the plant’s “night time” has very little, if not no effect, on what the plants see to be total darkness, which means that Florigen production will not be hampered.
40W Tricolour 1200mm Batten LED – 3000K / 4000K / 6500K – One light, three colour temperatures, loads of uses around the grow room. How growers can use it
Cloning & propagation (Cool White – 6500K): Cool white light is a popular choice for cuttings, clones and young seedlings. With 4400 lumens spread over a wide 120° beam, a single batten gives even coverage over a propagation tray or shelf.
Side lighting (Warm White – 3000K): Mount it vertically along the side of your space to add supplementary light to lower branches and the sides of the canopy that your main light struggles to reach.
Work & inspection light (Natural White – 4000K): A neutral, clean white for checking plants, mixing nutrients, or lighting up your grow room, shed or workbench.
Underlighting – only with care: Some growers use battens beneath the canopy. This fitting is rated IP20 and is NOT water- or moisture-resistant, so only consider this in conditions where it is fully protected from water, drips, run-off, spraying and splashes. See the safety notice below.

This light is rated IP20, which means it offers no protection against water or moisture. Keep it well away from reservoirs, trays, run-off, misters, foggers and anywhere it could be sprayed, splashed or dripped on. Grow tents and rooms can get very humid, so position it with care and never use it in wet or condensing conditions. Mains-voltage wiring should be done by a qualified electrician.
