A smart inline duct fan designed to quietly ventilate hydroponic grow rooms, boost heating/cooling to rooms, circulate fresh air, exhaust projects, and cool AV closets. The speed controller enables you to set the duct fan’s speed between ten speed levels to optimal noise and airflow levels in various environments. The precise airflow control is supported by the inline fan’s cutting-edge EC motor that is precisely controlled using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). This enables it to run smoothly at extremely low RPM speeds without generating motor noise. Also features backup memory that retains the last speed setting whenever power is cut off from the controller.
This duct fan uses a mixed-flow design using a stator blade and dual hydrodynamic wind circles, enabling it to deliver airflow even in applications where air movement is restricted. The unit is IP44 rated to be highly resistant to dust and liquids and performs well even in harsh environments.

AC Infinity UIS 2-in-1 Splitter, daisy chain adaptor dongle
A 2-in-1 splitter dongle designed to sequentially connect multiple same-type grow devices to our UIS controllers. Daisy-chain growing equipment like inline fans, grow lights, humidifiers, and more through a single port to set synchronized smart programming and expand your grow operation. ProActiv Carbon Filters use only 100% food grade virgin coconut activated carbon, encased in multi-layer fleece mats that are sealed air-tight on both ends of the scrubber.
Installation is super easy – just clip each end of the filter onto a rope ratchet and attach your ducting!
1) First, determine how much air-flow your will need through your grow space. If you are using fans to exhaust heat caused by hot HPS grow-lamps, a quick calculation can be done…
Number of lamps × Watts of each lamp ÷ 2 = Required cubic meters per hour of air flow needed.
(We recommend adding × 1.2 to this answer for our HOT ZA summers!)
2) Find one or more fans (whichever will best suit your area) that will provide a total airflow =/> than what has been worked out in step 1.
3) Match up each of your chosen fans with a carbon filter of the same diameter (preferably, to avoid the additional cost of ducting reducers). Also check the filter length if installing in cramped spaces.
VERY IMPORTANT: ALSO make sure that the filter’s air-flow capacity matches or exceeds the fan’s airflow rating, using the ProActive Filter table below. If too much air passes through the filter, it will not be able to scrub the passing air thoroughly!
4) Once your fans and filters have been matched up, it’s time to work out how many meters of ducting your will need, as well as other accessories, like Rope Ratchets, Ducting Clamps, or rolls of Aluminium Tape.
The RAM Bug Barrier is a fine mesh screen for intake fans to prevent insects in your grow room. Eliminate unwelcome visitors and debris from getting into your garden without losing airflow. The mesh screen comes with Velcro strips for you to attach to your intake fan to allow for easy installation. The RAM Bug Barrier fits over your inline fan and the ducting can then be put over the RAM Bug Barrier and secured with a ducting clamp.

Clamps are an adjustable steel band that the user tightens with a screw. Most people generally know this kind of fitting as a Jubilee Clip which is often in the plumbers tool box. The premise is the same just on a bigger scale to suit ducting, not water pipes. The worm gear that adjusts the tightness allows a secure connection between ducting and fan or filter.
Many growers use ducting clamps in combination with Aluminium tape. This makes an even stronger join with advantages of both. The tape has a bigger surface area for joining and can go round and round as many times as you want. It can degrade after a while though so the Ducting Clamp will increase holding power of the join.
Ducting is used to connect inline fans with items like spigot flanges, Air Carbon scrubbers or other fittings .
This flexible aluminium Ducting is specifically produced for low and medium pressure heating, cooling, ventilation, exhaust and air conditioning systems. It is produced from multi-layer aluminium, strengthened with high tension hard steel spring wire. It has high elasticity and flexibility. It can be easily fitted to circular, oval or rectangular connectors.
Keep in mind: It is ideal to keep your ducting pulled as tight as possible to reduce resistance thus ensuring maximum airflow. The more bends and corners you put in, the more you are reducing the fans capability.
