Margaret Roberts Biological Caterpillar Insecticide is a microbial insecticide (biological agent) for the control of leaf-eating caterpillar larvae on various edible crops, ornamentals, roses, bulbs and lawns.
Biological Caterpillar InsecticideĀ contains Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki.
Can be usedĀ for American bollworm, lily borer (amaryllis borer), semi-looper, diamond-back moth caterpillar, orange-dog caterpillar, lawn caterpillar and many more leaf-eating caterpillar species (Lepidoptera spp.).
The dosage is 5Ā grams per 10 litres water.
Can be used onĀ vegetables, fruit, flowers, bulbs, clivias, lawns, herbs.
It targets destructive leaf-eating larvae of Lepidopterous spp. No harmful toxic residues. No secondary poisoning. Harmless to bees, birds, fish, pets, wildlife, beneficial insects and natural predators. Can cause harm to young larvae of butterfly species, has no effect on adults. Avoid spraying onto plants visited by adult butterflies. Harvesting of edible crops directly after application.
