Description
Matabi Sprayer Collar Seal, for Matabi Berry 7, Kima 9 and Kima 12 Compression Sprayers.
If you’ve used your Matabi sprayer for some time and notice that pumping the compression plunger does not build up pressure in the sprayer tank any more, your Matabi Sprayer Collar Seal probably needs to be replaced.
This rubber collar seal is what pushes air into the tank in a similar way as a car’s pistons, or like the little rubber seal inside a syringe pushes out liquids.
The seal is cheap, easy to replace, and will make your Matabi build up air pressure just like the day it was bought!
Larry…
Larry, the ever-optimistic gardener, found himself in a duel of wits with his trusty but temperamental pressure sprayer. Armed with nothing but a furrowed brow and a pump handle, he set out to conquer the stubborn contraption that seemed intent on making his afternoon a circus of futility. Each pump was met with a hissing sigh, like the sprayer itself was mocking his efforts. Unbeknownst to Larry, the true culprit was a sneaky little rubber collar seal, now aged and worn, that had decided to retire without notice. Oblivious, Larry pumped harder, believing he could brute-force his way to victory, sweat dripping and muttered curses filling the air.
As the minutes ticked by, Larry’s determination morphed into a theatrical performance worthy of an audience. He inspected every inch of the sprayer, like a detective solving a crime, all while ignoring the obvious suspect lounging at the base of the pump. He even resorted to sweet-talking the sprayer, promising it a well-earned rest and a spot of oil if it would just cooperate. Yet, the sprayer remained as defiant as ever, releasing nothing more than a pitiful drizzle. Finally, with a dramatic sigh and a flair for the comedic, Larry collapsed on his lawn, defeated not by nature’s pests but by a simple piece of rubber. Little did he know, salvation lay just one replacement seal away.
